I know someone who called several years in a row, sometimes multiple times, and thus far has never recieved a return call. Both leaving messages and talking to live voices saying they'd call him back soon...

Each WDFW Enforcement Detachment (several detachments inside a region) does their sealing differently. Some require the individual to go to the regional office, some will meet you somewhere and some pick a day where you can show up and have pelts sealed (for example, the third Friday of every month we will seal pelts at X location from Xam-Yam)

Thanks for the replies. I noticed in the 2011 regs that they changed the wording a bit on the sealing requirements to include hunters and trappers whereas the 2010 regs state that "hunters" (no mention to trappers) who harvest a cat need to get it sealed within 20 days of the close of the hunting OR trapping season. So it would seem to me that even though a person did not trap the cat he/she would technically have to April 20 to get it sealed since the trapping season ends on Mar 31st.

Probably one of those situations that would still get you a ticket if you did not have a trapping license but with the wording of the 2010 regs I would be surprised if a judge would allow the ticket to stand in court.
